We believe that sometimes it is necessary to unwind, relax, and just escape all the hassles of daily life. Our spa is the perfect place to do this.The spa area is located towards the back of the building away from the noise and bustle of the salon and boutique. You can enjoy a quiet atmosphere, relaxing music, and some of the best technicians around. We have two aestheticians and two massage therapists all of which are very skilled in what they do. Our massage therapists desire to make you feel renewed, relaxed, and refreshed. Our aestheticians are well versed in what works for each specific skin type, offering assurance that they know just the right treatments and techniques to help you.Come in and let us take care of you for a change. Massage Therapist

Vicki Exum is a licensed massage therapist at Jagged Edge with around 8 years of experience. She went to the Tennessee School of Massage and is certified in several different areas of massage - Myofascia Release, Belavi Face-Lift Massage (Now referred to as Bellanina), Medical Massage, and Repetitive Use Injury Technique (R.U.I.T). She specializes in all of these areas, but receives the most requests for her combo and face-lift massage. She is an active member of the Women's Crisis Center, ASCPA Guardian Angel, and NEA Humane Society. When away from Jagged Edge, you can also find her actively participating in her church and church functions. She is a momma to 6 abandoned dogs aging in ranges of 11 and a half to 1 year old. Vicki says, “I love my babies with all of my heart and wouldn't trade them for the world - but please don't drop off anymore! Haha!” She loves to cook and can fruits and veggies, but enjoys homemade creative cooking the most! She is a DIE-HARD Wisconsin Badgers football fan. Those that know her, know that her lucky Badgers socks are on her feet every day before game day! Vicki loves the work that she gets to do here at Jagged Edge and she enjoys her clients enormously! She says that she loves to have the ability to relax and de-stress her clients and would love the chance to work with new clients anytime!

Massage Therapist

Valerie Tate Carr has been working as a massage therapist for about 20 years. She loves her job because she feels that she gets to help people have a great quality of life with the line of work that she does. She specializes in therapeutic massage and has an extensive list of specialties that she offers here at Jagged Edge. She received her education in Westside and continued on to massage therapy. She feels that not only does she offer a way for people to relax and rejuvenate, but she also gives them a chance to truly feel better, an impact that not everyone can have in the service industry. When she is not working, you can probably find her barrel racing. She loves the sport and has been an active member of the National Barrel Racers Associations for years. She attends and loves Cowboy Church and is also very active in her church family as well. Aesthetician

Jay Burns has worked as an licensed aesthetician for over 25 years now and is proud to call Jagged Edge her professional home. She attended and completed St Joseph School of Radiology before going on to complete Palm Harbor School of Esthetics. She loves the job that she does because she gets to make people feel and look young and beautiful. While she loves all the aspects of her job, she specializes in anti-aging because she believes that everyone deserves to look and feel as good on the outside as they do on the inside. Jay has a passion for what she does, so it is hardly surprising that she is certified in many sub-areas within her profession. Some of her main certifications are RT R, obagi specialist, microderm specialist, EndyMed technician, and tons more. Jay has a close bond with many of her clients and is thoroughly thankful for their loyalty and friendship over the years. Jay recently relocated to Tennessee, so she drives in to work Wednesday through Friday – being so grateful that her clients understand and are able to work their schedules with hers. When not working at the spa, Jay also enjoys reading, spending time with her family, trying out new restaurants, and traveling whenever she gets the chance. Aesthetician

Angelia Heringer is an aesthetician and wax specialist at Jagged edge with around 9 years of experience. She specializes in corrective skin care, anti-aging skin care, and all waxing needs. Angelia loves the work that she does and loves that she gets to provide services that she feels are truly invaluable. She received higher education from both Hairtech and ASU. She also continues her education in her career field any way that she can. She is certified in camouflage makeup and skin care, and is also certified in Obagi, MD Formulations, and Bare Escentuals as well. She has had extensive training in chemical acid peels from several separate skin care organizations too, because she strives to know everything she can about the services and products she provides for her wonderful clients. Outside of the spa, you can usually find Angelia with her nose in a book or a paintbrush in her hand. She loves to paint, and she displays her work in albums and on the walls of her room at the spa. She loves to learn about anything and everything she can and spend time with her family. Angelia states that her husband Carl, and children Lilly, 6, and Jackson, 3, are the biggest blessing in her life! She is also a member of the Northeast Arkansas Visual Art League, the Humane Society, Chad Causey, and FUMC.
